Passport भारत सरकार द्वारा issued एक official travel document है जो international travel के लिए जरूरी है। Passport Seva Portal (passportindia.gov.in) पर online application के बाद Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) में appointment लेकर documents verify होते हैं।

Fresh Passport के लिए Documents

- Birth Certificate या 10th Certificate (Date of Birth proof)
- Address proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/Electricity Bill)
- Existing passport (यदि हो)
Minors (18 से कम) के लिए extra:
- Birth Certificate (mandatory)
- Parents का passport copy
- Annexure H (parents की declaration)
- School bonafide certificate

Online Application Process
Tatkal Passport क्या है?
Urgent situations (medical emergency, job abroad, higher studies) में Tatkal Passport मिलता है। Normal से ₹2000 extra fees लगती है। Processing time 7-14 working days होती है।
Tatkal के लिए extra requirement: Annexure A (Verification certificate) किसी Gazetted Officer से signed।
Police Verification Process
Passport application के बाद local police station आपकी address verify करने घर आएगी। इसमें 1-3 weeks लगते हैं। Police verification clear होने के बाद passport dispatch होता है।
